Just in time for Valentine’s Day, and for the third day of my February challenge to help end modern slavery, I decided to go to the kitchen. Using fair-trade chocolate, I made a Valentine treat for my family: chocolate-drenched bacon, garnished with different kinds of goodies. By using only fair-trade chocolate, you’re reducing the demand for cocoa beans that rely on the labor of child slaves in African countries.
If you want to try this recipe out, here it is—but you can incorporate fair trade chocolate into any of your favorite cocoa Valentine treats!
